Lisa's Bio

Lisa Ann Jones MA, RD, LDN, an adjunct professor in nutrition at LaSalle University received her undergraduate degree at West Virginia University in Dietetics; her MA in nutrition education at Immaculata University.  She is also a nutrition consultant providing a variety of nutrition services to organizations as well as individuals. 

 

Her greatest joy is being a TV Host/Producer for TV21.  Lisa currently hosts and produces a weekly health show called “Healthwise with Lisa Jones”. Lisa is also the media representative for the Pennsylvania Dietetic Association as well as the Public Relations chair for the Philadelphia Dietetic Association.  She appears monthly with the health reporter from WPVI-6 featuring a variety of nutrition topics.  She has also appeared on TLC’s “Surviving Motherhood” as a nutrition expert to name a few of her media appearances. She is the Nutritionist for The Greater Philadelphia Radio Group’s KIDFIT program and has written several publications as well.

 

Lisa is also an established national speaker with over 6 years experience.  She is looking forward to speaking at the upcoming Philadelphia Dietetic Association’s meeting. She is also a member of many associations including: American Dietetic Association, Pennsylvania Dietetic Association, Philadelphia Dietitian Association, Dietitians in Business and Communications, Nutrition Entrepreneurs, National Academy of Television of Arts and Sciences.  Lisa is the proud recipient of the Recognized Young Dietitian of The Year Award 2004.
